The Bernedoodle is a designer breed that originated in North America in the early 2000s, created by crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Poodle. The aim was to combine the Bernese's gentle temperament with the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat to create an ideal companion dog.
