Lore & Heritage
The name Zircon traces to the Persian "zargun", meaning "gold-hued." Ancient Hebrew mythology records that the guardian angel assigned to guide Adam and Eve in Eden bore a brilliant zircon. During the Middle Ages, voyagers wore it as an amulet against plagues, insomnia, and lightning strikes. In the Victorian era, the discovery of electric blue zircons from Cambodia ignited a design frenzy among high jewelers.
